Certainly the (A)coastlands will wait for Me;
And the (B)ships of Tarshish will come first,
To (C)bring your sons from afar,
Their silver and their gold with them,
For the name of the Lord your God,
And for the Holy One of Israel because He has (D)glorified you.

10 (E)Foreigners will build up your walls,
And their (F)kings will serve you;
For in My (G)wrath I struck you,
And in My favor I have had compassion on you.
11 Your (H)gates will be open continually;
They will not be closed day or night,
So that people may (I)bring you the wealth of the nations,
With (J)their kings led in procession.
12 For the (K)nation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish,
And the nations will be utterly ruined.
13 The (L)glory of Lebanon will come to you,
The (M)juniper, the elm tree and the [a]cedar together,
To beautify the place of My sanctuary;
And I will make the (N)place of My feet glorious.
14 The (O)sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you,
And all those who despised you will bow down at the soles of your feet;
And they will call you the (P)city of the Lord,
The (Q)Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15 “Whereas you have been (R)forsaken and (S)hated
With no one passing through,
I will make you an (T)object of pride forever,
A joy from generation to generation.
16 You will also (U)suck the milk of nations,
And suck the breast of kings;
Then you will know that I, the Lord, am your (V)Savior
And your (W)Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
17 Instead of bronze I will bring gold,
And instead of iron I will bring silver,
And instead of wood, bronze,
And instead of stones, iron.
And I will make peace your administrators,
And righteousness your overseers.
18 (X)Violence will not be heard again in your land,
Nor (Y)devastation or destruction within your borders;
But you will call your (Z)walls salvation, and your (AA)gates praise.
19 No longer will you have the (AB)sun for light by day,
Nor will the moon give you light for brightness;
But you will have the (AC)Lord as an everlasting light,
And your (AD)God as your [b]glory.
20 Your (AE)sun will no longer set,
Nor will your moon wane;
For you will have the Lord as an everlasting light,
And the days of your (AF)mourning will be over.
21 Then all your (AG)people will be righteous;
They will (AH)possess the land forever,
The branch of [c]My planting,
The (AI)work of My hands,
That I may be (AJ)glorified.
22 The (AK)smallest one will become a thousand,
And the least one a mighty nation.
I, the Lord, will bring it about quickly in its time.”

Miracle at Cana

On (A)the third day there was a wedding in (B)Cana of Galilee, and the (C)mother of Jesus was there; and both Jesus and His (D)disciples were invited to the wedding. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus *said to Him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus *said to her, [a](E)What business do you have with Me, (F)woman? (G)My hour has not yet come.” His (H)mother *said to the servants, “Whatever He tells you, do it.” Now there were six stone waterpots standing there (I)for the Jewish custom of purification, containing [b]two or three measures each. Jesus *said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim. And He *said to them, “Draw some out now and take it to the [c]headwaiter.” And they took it to him. Now when the headwaiter tasted the water (J)which had become wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter *called the groom, 10 and *said to him, “Every man serves the good wine first, and when the guests (K)are drunk, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.” 11 This beginning of His [d](L)signs Jesus did in Cana of (M)Galilee, and revealed His (N)glory; and His disciples believed in Him.
